I think it's a mountain lion cub? Oddly enough here in the Bay Area, your more likely to see one in Golden Gate park, Palo Alto, or in a Half Moon Bay neighborhood, than in the Sierras.

Yep, was a pack of about 10 ladies, looked like 3 larger moms and rest just kiddos. And the deck is nice, until it's covered in 2' of snow .Just a baby eating the feeder seed. That is a great scene and photo. Nice deck too!
