I'd guess like 28-29? - it has a LOT of float for a little board. i'm floating at my chest when sitting on it... some of my boards float closer armpit level.

i think 2.5 is top of the sk8 deck, i'll have to measure, the rails feel much thinner, the light blue lap ends on the edge of the rail... the sk8 deck 'peaks' on the other side of the deck groove...you can kinda see this in the rocker picture

oh and it's like ridiculously light... i've never had a stretch EPS before, i laughed when i first picked it up

Anyone know anything about this one? Seller claims it was Nathan’s

Says it’s 5’6 x 22 but doesn’t know thickness

Thanks. Thinking the same. Also he’s being flaky. If he was local I’d have checked it out already.

hes being flaky - im over it. probably stolen. I asked if it is a sk8 deck, he said 'it is parabolic, look at the youtube video'. I asked him to text me, but only sends emails.

22 is probably too wide

just ordered a pug, stretch told me don't get a mr buzz ever. i'll keep looking for a used one, maybe order one if I ever actually feel confident it wont be a waste of money.

22" is wayyy too much.

I borrowed a friend's Mr Buzz a few years back. Like most HP shortboards (and like golf) it mostly frustrating, but when you get that one good turn it's worth it. You have to keep that thing moving the entire wave.

Finally picked up xmesa's Mr. Buzz. Stocked to try it in the first swell since, say, Jan 2018? Going to run Stretch Quads unless someone tells me to do otherwise. BEEN WANTING TO TRY THIS SHAPE SINCE.... NATHAN FLETCHER!

YEW!

I was reading that people like controllers. I used AM2 front and EA rears and loved the way it felt... it was just that not being able to catch waves thing :foreheadslap:

Did you get it out this weekend? How'd it go for you?

whats the difference between superbuzz and mr.buzz? what's more fun for so cal waves
I think the superbuzz is supposed to be a little easier to surf, especially in softer waves. I didn't surf it much, but the Mr Buzz felt like it really needed some juice to get going... i think the SB is more gravely

Stretch's site says: Optimized foil, relaxed rocker and curvier tail compared to Mr. Buzz = broadened usability in all around surf from waist to overhead

That's huge.

I'm 6'1 and 185 pounds, 38 years old. My Super Buzz's are 5'6 x 20.25" x 2.5" 31 liters and 5'7" x 20.25" x 2.3" 30 liters.

I'm having trouble properly putting my Mr. Buzz through its paces during these lully south swells... I need a solid 6hr session. Can someone take care of my dog and work responsibilities so I can deliver a thorough review?
