how funny that this came up.

I just picked up a new Mr Buzz w/ Sk8 deck with a sick resin tint... worried it might be on the small size, even though it says a 5'3" is like 28L

Will be for sale if i don't click with it... shouldn't have taken it on a trade because i'm broke, but i've been dying to try one of these.

Dave told me that Nathan rides a 5'2 or 5'3 x 19" x 2.3, even at big Wedge. I remembered these numbers cause I thought they were tiny.

I ultimately didn't order one cause I thought no way I'm paddling a 5'3 x 19" around the North Shore lol.

the ‘designing mr buzz’ video says he rides a 5’0... but its an old video and stretch may have just been verbally rounding-down

im about 170, nathan fletcher looks a little bigger than me, hope it goes ok. mine was apparently shaped for a visiting pro from HI, was left in CA. i wonder if the original owner was thinking the same thing as you ^

Should I get a 5’2 x 20 x 2.5 I found?

Can’t imagine I could ride it lol

I always felt like this board never got enough credit. I have had 2 over the years and they are so much fun. I will say I liked the skate deck version I had more than the traditional non skate.

Good luck with the search!

Email stretch and ask for the volume. I did that with my 2x4 thinking it might have been too small. Is it sk8?

I don't think its skate...

20.5 x 2.75 I'd be on it

are these generally ridden narrow?

5'2 sounds tiny, but 20" x 2.5" should be a lot of volume. Maybe even around 31/32 liters for that model. Could be doable at 200 pounds. Only one way to find out.
