I'm overthinking my varial twinsman order too much.

How light is the 4/4/4 infused poly construction?

I'm considering going the instant gratification route but the main change I was going to make if I did a custom was the "strong" 6/4/6 lay up.
I went instant gratification route on both Twinsman and Stamps. some pressure denting on deck for sure but they feel great so far. If your'e OCD about dents go heavier but the boards don't feel too light to me at least.

i don't have a 444 but 646 feels about equal to a standard poly. i haven't actually weighed any of these it's just based on how they feel under arm.
Curious difference in weight between:
Varial 4/4 4
Varial 4/4 4 infused
CFT 4/4 4
DFT 4/4 4
Pu/pe 4/4 4
The high modulus of Varial Foam makes it 25% lighter and 40% stronger than a PU blank with a stringer.

Marko core on the left. Varial core on the right. Although glassed exactly the same, the weight difference between them was 310grams or 0.68lbs with the Varial packing in the slight extra heft.

weight of 444 infused vs anytbing else is noticeable under arm. it’s that light.

While surfing, I don’t think so nearly as mucb although I’ve hardly had enough days to be sure.

the lightness of the 444 has its perks and reminds me of a very responsive and flexible team light pu/pe.

+1 on responsive. Took the Stamps Flare (varial) out this am and had a bunch of kook moments (as usual) but caught a few waves where everything clicked. Had one decent front side bottom turn where I was able to really push hard off the bottom and couldn't believe how much energy/projection the Varial had. Addicting feeling (if I could ever do it consistently).

5'8 twinsman looks like a good one too.
Blem: Slight over spray on deck

If that was my size, it'd grab it.
I'm tempted by $50 off on a couple stock boars that I've been eyeing.
Must. resist.

If that were a 5'10 I would have ripped that so hard.

If this is in the dims strike zone for anyone go for it.

The insanity is an AWESOME average - good wave board.
