"Any good" is not an opinion I expressed one way or another. I'm commenting on the political angle, which the OP directly referenced. So it isn't just me.

The question remains unanswered: do you think that if Trump's name was on this film it would have gotten the win? Of course you don't. Nobody in their right minds would think that. And that's because the politics are obviously a factor. Duh.

The film was that good and deserved an award.

So you haven't seen the film and you know nothing about it other than the fact that Obama's financed the film but you know he won it because of his politics?

Film has nothing to do with politics, it's largely observational. There's no narration or script.

We thought Parasite was not great. Thought it was a cross between Shoplifters and Us, but didn't say what it wanted to as good as those two did.

The trailer look fantastique.

One thing about the trailer, the hype about Macedonia being "a world apart from any civilization" or something like that, is a bit of an exaggeration and was a bit irksome but I will reserve the judgement until I see it, unlike some.
Cinematography was top notch.
