They are different boards for sure. As you can see on this thread everyone has an opinion and all are good. Really personal preference and would hit up the Shaper of good ones and go off what they say.So what's the started advice? classic single or ur mabile? size?
I surf my Glider and Paddle a Paddleboardinterested to see what the take is when one of you glider guys gets your hand a sprint/prone paddleboard. whatever you want that glider to do....kneeriding a sprintboard or stockboard is straight mindblowing.
Honestly, you should call Bob Mitsven, he does a lot of them and is such a nice guy he would be happy to talk about getting you the right size/ style glider. I emailed him about how short I could go on the mini glider and he called me within 45 sec and talked for 10 min about it. I have 5 of his boards now, all fantastic. He's a true craftsman. So what's the started advice? classic single or ur mabile? size?

Sounds like we need a leashless glider at every spot.Saw a guy with a skip Frye gilder almost take out the entire lineup where I was surfing with sublime last week
What is the standard glass schedule on these?
no idea but well glassed. I beat up boards pretty bad and mine still looks new but forming some pressure wells.
Stringer?
single but triple would be ideal.
Transport method?
carry, you can get your arm around one. it's heavy but not too bad.
sorry for the dumb response. Retodd thanks for answering.RE: transport - I'm asking in term of vehicle
I'm wondering if they're prone to stress cracking if not glassed with volan or without a really wide support base.
