Can someone please tell me how thick is the front wing of a hydrofoil for surfing? I made one now, and it's 2cm thick. Should it be less?

They said the new wing is really small 987 cm sq, that is small !!
Seems to me Cloud9 was left behind despite being one of the first brand, but looks like they have been working hard to come back.
no it was this clip greg, i thought the drive through the big down carve/ cutback looked incredible.
I do have the new Axis fus, I will check but I'm pretty sure it is not the same.

I have the Stealth 175 and the Albatross 175, Hopefully, getting a UNI Hyper 210 soon.
How do you like it ? Pumping ? turning ?
I'm trying to get some informations compared to Axis 900. Steve told me he likes the 900 better but on seabreeze the guys seems to like the Uni 170 better.
175, it's the original Albatross and pre-dates the 210. Signature doesn't make it anymore, replaced by the 165 and UNI Hyper 170.
As for the ride, it's fast and turns well. It's the only HA wing I've ridden so I'm looking forward to comparing it to the 210 soon.
Yeah, the guy I've surfed with is that craig guy. He's real smooth and fast in nothing waves. The wing is tiny in person.
I had the 900 & demoed a 170, there's a big difference in size between these wings so I don't think their comparable.
I really wanted to like the 170 but didn't gel with it in the conditions at hand (slow/small weak waves). In the same conditions on my 900, I would have had way more fun.
