Best foil for you.

Ok so pretty much like me. I love my combo Axis 900/ultrashort fus/mast 75cm/370 stab but I need to try other foil.
I tried the Axis 660 which felt great for turning but lack of gliding.
I had exactly same Axis set as you have now & have towed with the 660.
I recently changed foils to the Armstrong HS1550/212 feels/turns similar to the 660 but also has good glide & pump (not far off the 900).
I was going to wait for Axis to develop a bigger 660 but loss patience lol.

Yeah it sort of does. The 900 little tail is due to the connection point to the fuselage. When I saw this one in person the bat wing rear edge looks like a more functional part of the design.

Also the 900 is the width from wing tip to wing tip right? 900mm? 34 inches? The one I saw was 28? inches from wing tip to wing tip. It looked narrower than my lift 200 tip to tip.

Just measured it: 900 cm tip to tip

Not a bad price for a 4'8" infiniti tombstone. $300.

I'm going crazy, I just put a f-one swing 5.0 in a shopping cart on 5 different shops to calculate shipping and all that jazz. I'm assuming it's going to be crowded everywhere when this is all over so I'll need to get away from people in a new sport for awhile.

Looks like Infinity is doing a spring sale, check it out, :

The Axis new fus is 13 cm long (5"12), so longer than the Signature.
Oh well, thanks Greg!

I'm pretty sure Jason Miller is riding the Albatross 165 these days and pumping further than ever.

He and Ian told me they did a downwind a couple months ago from Trail 1 to Trail 6, they thought it would take an hour. Jason got to trail 6 in 15 minutes, haha they spent more time walking the trail back to the car.

Yes going dw, if you don't fall you go fast especially with a small fast wing !!

I'm gonna ask Jason about it, thanks.

I have the Axis 900 and 1000. I am 85 kg and for our weak/slow waves even the 1000 is too small for sup foiling most of the time.
I was thinking of getting a 1550 to catch small waves and pump back but if the 1550 has less glide than the 900 I have to look for another wing...
Perhaps I have to wait for the Axis S1010 but I would love to get a wing that feels great for turning...

Yes the Axis 101 is what you want, it is not the fastest hight aspect wing but it has a really good glide even at lower speed and it turns good.

Got my hands on a Uni Hyper 210 during lockdown and finally got it in the water a couple days ago.

What a wing! Paired it with my big stabilizer (Naish 320) to get started on it and leg day is now everyday. NO end to the pump power of this thing!

A lot of fun in the 1-2 footers, not much for actual waveriding but enough to pump around and nab a few doubles.
