Might seem like a good correlation.....but where's your proof of root cause....that the lockdowns are responsible for any downward trend. Any chance it could be something else? Like the end of flu season? Can you explain why folks in complete lockdown for months still got sick?
Aus and NZ are just going into our flu season, so throw that one out.

Because they did it wrong. Because they encountered someone who encountered someone who encountered someone. Who got sick with Covid 19 and completely sheltered/encountered no other people who had contact with anyone else? No youtube videos please.

as far as this population who are supposed to be sheltering in place (the at-risk population) and those who can be working to bring the "economy" back, here's some stats just numbers, but numbers none the less no judgement

I guess these reflect the results of living a life of convenience combined without being paid a equitable living wage.
Fast and cheap food being bad food.

as of 2018
42.4% of the US population was considered "obese" with the following breakdown:
Obese Severely Obese
White 42.3% 9.3%
Black 49.6% 13.8%
Asian 17.4% 2.0%
Hispanic 44.8% 7.9%

As of 2016
121.5 Million or 48.5% of the US population has some form of heart disease

Other Stats
1/10 or 88 million Americans have Diabetes maybe more
37 million have some form of chronic kidney disease with 90% not aware of it
8%-30% of American have some form of nonalocoholic fatty liver disease
7.7% of Americans have severe asthma

in 2015:
3% of American had some form of Immunocompromise
and 54.4% of americans had some form of diagnosed arthritis

That's allot of people other than old people in old folks homes.
A lot of people
really this many are "at risk"?

Doesn't make sense as far as getting back into gear without a vaccine
Or in reality are they expecting a portion "at risk" to take a gamble?
How do you shelter so many and restore things "back to normal"
Most of the people needed to come back because they can't work from home fall into these "at risk" populations.

The numbers don't add up things don't make sense
but probably why re-opening isn't having the effect everyone is hoping for

just numbers nothing else
no you tube videos sorry

^Was that supposed to be addressing my question?

Bohter said people in "complete lockdown for months are getting sick." If someone completely locked down there's no way they could get sick. A case like that needs a contact tracer ASAP. Miraculous Covidtion?

So they released my wife and I from quarantine yesterday. She is stoked since they are allowing her work to reopen June 1. Unfortunately, they are keeping my son locked down to make sure he didn't catch it while we all quarantined. I don't get the logic of that since we all have the antibodies and haven't had symptoms for a couple months. Judging by the studies the reason some of us test positive weeks later is it picks up the dead virus cells your body sheds. Meantime, we still have daily house visits and calls from DOH to check up on his health and make sure he's not leaving the house.

Sounds like Americans are so fat and unhealthy (and stupid) that we should be locked-down until we're dead from the effects of poverty and starvation.
