It has everything to do with what’s going on right now. Statues and names buildings of American historical figures are being torn down and changed because of views and conduct that is considered racist by today’s standards.
Now I have no problem with confederate statues or Christopher Columbus statues being taken down, but Woodrow Wilson and Ulysses S Grant? Are we going to disinfect all of history based on today’s standards?
