[ A ] Wide point back of center
[ B ] Pulled in tail
[ C ] More tail rocker
[ D ] More Vee
[ E ] It has nothing to do with the board... It's all about the surfer.
[ F ] Add more fins (side bites, nubsters, and quad rears)

Feel free to choose more than one.

Mahalos.

Depends how you want to turn......

Trendy Modern log style it’s:

4a style fin, tail kick, wide point back of centre. Lighter glassing (swing weight matters) under 23 & 3, a bit of vee or roll. Tail doesn’t have to be that pulled

If it’s ( soon to be fashionable again ) 90s style, it’s:

Pulled tail, hard rails in the tail, tail kick, spiral vee and maybe side bites.

Interesting aside, surfers who longboard to a decent level generally have better style on shorter boards than die hard shortboarders have on longer boards. Generalisation I know but reckon it’s fairly true.

Forgot about that option. Adding it. Thanks.
Add this you could also add what I did since I usually long board semi closed out beach break and scored a 8' mini log bonzer shaped by Malcom Campbell with 5 fin and ewing pintail. Races out close outs and has magic 5th gear and turns on a dime and you can still do cheater 5v's and even 10's:shaka:
