The story is back on BG - with a clarification between Vincent Jr ( father) and Vincent III (son)
Apparently, it is the Father (Jr) making the allegations and causing trouble - not Sunny, (?) but the whole situation is very confusing.
Maybe they can send a real journalist out to Texas and find out what's going on -

Many people have wanted more information on Sunny, his situation, whereabouts and health for a very long time. Mass misconception that Sunny has passed or is still in a coma are rumored but until now no one knows what is happening with Sunny. The family has had to keep their mouths shut because of a gag order and constant lawsuits and threats from Sunny’s keeper. So for years they have had to be vague.
Sunny’s death story is an unbelievable story. It’s long, confusing and detailed. The health issues and medical information alone is a lot to process. But what is truly mind boggling is the fact that Sunny’s been locked up in a house, kept from his family and home for almost 4 years. The family has been stuck in court cases since September of 2019. And have been undergoing continual legal and emotional harassment, bullying, manipulation and emotional turmoil because of said, LP. A woman who Sunny had broken up with and was trying to get away from. This was proven in police reports. Police reports showing a tumultuous relationship. A breakup that lead to him to try and take his life.
In the past week @prayforsunnygarcia IG page, run by Sunny’s family, made an emotional post mentioning not being able to talk or see Sunny for almost 4 years. Ironically and anonymous IG page @FREESUNNYGARCIA popped up in the days immediately after. It’s unknown who started or runs this page. But it’s verified that it is not run by Sunny’s family.
When information comes out about Sunny’s mysterious situation, it is so rare, and the community is so hungry for it, that it goes viral. As this page did in 2 days. FROM the moment the @FREESUNNYGARCIA page came out, Sunny’s Uber wealthy, sue happy keeper worked to remove the page immediately. The page was completely deleted from IG within 5 days of launching. Since then a second page has surfaced @FREESUNNYGARCIA2
We have been sitting on the details of this story for years. 4 years later, with no luck in court, and no rest from the harassment from Sunny’s keeper, it’s time to use the media to tell this story. PLEASE REPOST THIS! MAHALO

Guardianship Corruption-
Since the news of #SaveBritney the world is aware of the corruption behind the Guardianship Laws. How they are difficult if not almost impossible to break. This is what Sunny has been going through. Sunny’s EX Girlfriend is now represented by the same lawyers that represented Britney. Ironically these lawyers are now representing the oppressor rather than the victim of the prison that the guardianship laws can create.
The laws in the state of Texas, where Sunny is being kept, protect the Guardian rather than the family in guardianship disputes. EX Girlfriend used the excuse of a medical facility specializing in anoxic brain injury to move Sunny to Texas. Sunny was only in the hospital there for a few months before she moved him into a house she bought in Texas. A house in the center of a large gated community with full security at the gate and a full staff of full time security at her residence. Fully aware that once she got Sunny there she could keep Sunny away from the world. What was once a temporary co-guardianship of Sunny, and the laws in Texas that protect the guardian would be her shield. And she could keep Sunny to herself forever.
At the time Sunny went to Texas, EX Girlfriend and Sunny’s father, Vince, shared co-guardianship of Sunny. Slowly after the move to Texas, EX Girlfriend began limiting and blocking Vince from seeing Sunny. Until she finally had her full time security team remove him from the house/gated community. Shortly thereafter she filed a restraining order on him. Ensuring Vince would no longer be able to see his son.
On Sunny’s 50th birthday all of his children bought tickets to go to Texas to see their Dad. They had arranged it through the lawyers with much court effort on their part. The night before their flight they were told they could not come as Sunny was being moved. Moved where? She would not tell them. But she successfully blocked them once again from seeing their Dad. She moved him into her residence, the kids and grandkids never talked to him again. Sunny is now 53 years old.

Nobody here is bothering Sunny. This topic is of interest because it's about a lot more than Sunny. Most people establish a living will/medical decisionmaker with no understanding of the implications, foremost being the established decisionmaker does not really have to follow your wishes, just their interpretation of your wishes! Possible is this woman was listed as his decisionmaker so she held the power for medical decisions. Maybe his family felt her plans for him were not what he would have wanted. Conflict ensued, she had decisionmaker status, the money, and the lawyers to keep them away. Smart folks will choose someone who is not financially or emotionally vested to make their medical decisions in their most vulnerable state. Nope ex-bosses daughter ate a bunch of tylenol and the 18 year old boyfriend was able to block em. She was on their insurance. His hair went gray that year. Longhaired dude, it was falling out all over the office. I took notes. Detective crednetials revoked!

Both men may be comatose, but in the case of Schumacher, he is being protected by his family. They have requested privacy regarding Michaels condition and for the most part, that request has been honoured.
Sunny's caretaker on the other hand, has denied the family's wishes to be involved in Sunny's care and rehabilitation - with the exception of the Father whom she apparently now wants out of the picture.
Sunny is not being protected by his family, they say he is being isolated by his caretaker - for their own unstated reasons.
There is apparently no working journalist in the surfing genre with the skills, knowledge or the experience to get this story straight.
There was one, but he was black listed after performing actual journalism while accurately reporting on the circumstances surrounding Andy Iron’s passing. There’s a reason surf media is inept, or at least comes off as such.
Whatever the truth is, it's a sad situation for all involved. It's just gossip for the erBB and those esteemed surf journalists.
