I heard the X-rays were negative and it's just a soft tissue injury but that's second or third hand info at this point. Either way wishing him a fast and complete recovery.
No idea what happened but I wonder if top tier pros expect everyone out there to be operating on the same level in terms of safety. Winging it is a big no-no unlike the pioneer days.

Can one of the scientologist here confirm that if you are north of point conception, and south of Monterey, the storm runoff compared to quanity/quality of ocean water has minimal impact on the human body when exposed during standard surf session?
