just rewinded the vid. It be a TWIN ......i thought I saw a small trailer? Board was painted black so maybe I'm mistaken.
When I was a grom I asked BL for an autograph at the OP Pro at Huntington and he totally shined me. "After the contest" or something like that is what he said. I got Jeremy Flores'dBarton Lynch just mentioned that one of the first times he surfed Pipeline, Gerry Lopez said hi and Barton nearly fell off his board.
Moments after Barton won the 1988 Billabong Pro at Pipe along with the world championship, I went up and took pics of him, and distinctly remembered him nodding to me in acknowledgement. Funny how those little moments can be memorable.
A 5'7". Slater ripped on that little thing. The 360 carve!!!Thats it, I'm selling everything and getting a twin-only quiver
he must think he's still on the mainland or somethingslater on a twin w/ trailer
My first custom board back in 1978 was a 5'2" bat tailed twin. Still have it...Sales of twin fin shortboards are going to take off now? That 360 was stupidly easy for him. 5-6" twin. Ridiculous.
