I bet those two would be quite honored to be featured on such an incredibly thoughtful piece of internet bullshit.

"We arrived at the Oval Office for our 45-minute interview ... on the morning of October 11th. ... As we left the Oval Office, executive editor Eric Bates told Obama that he had asked his six-year-old if there was anything she wanted him to say to the president. ... he said, 'Tell him: You can do it.' Obama grinned. ... 'You know, kids have good instincts,' Obama offered. 'They look at the other guy and say, 'Well, that's a bullshitter, I can tell.'"

I don't doubt that these two died trying to help. But there's a whole poop ton of unsubstantiated embellishment in that internet meme. I could only imagine that men of honor like most navy seals would want to be remembered for what actually happened not the overly politicized Patrick Tillman "Lets Roll!" gung-ho fist pumping version of the story.

Yes or no, do you take this sourceless internet meme at face value for what actually happened?

You should read up on what one of the victims mother's thinks about the politicization of her sons death...

Mom of ex-navy SEAL killed in Benghazi slams Romney
Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:24PM GMT

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will no longer bring up Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL killed in the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya, the campaign said Wednesday in response to a complaint from Doherty's mother.

On Tuesday, Romney spoke to supporters in Iowa, recalling a chance encounter with a former Navy SEAL while mistakenly attending a Christmas party in San Diego a few years ago.

"I met some remarkable people, one of whom was a former Navy SEAL," Romney said. "I just learned a few days ago that he was one of the two former Navy SEALs killed in Benghazi. It broke my heart."

Boston's WHDH later reached out to Doherty's mother, Barbara, to get her reaction to Romney's campaign trail anecdote.

"I don't trust Romney. He shouldn't make my son's death part of his political agenda," she told WHDH. "It's wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama."

Doherty similarly decried the politicization of her son's death in an interview with the Boston Herald last month. Huffington Post
What exactly do you think this sourceless internet meme is doing? Why do you hate the mothers of dead heros so much?

No.

Why would I want to do that? I'm sure if I can't find anything better to do my wife will find something better to do for me.

I couldn't possibly care less.

I don't see any difference between the mothers (or fathers) of dead heros and any other person that dies in the service of their country. Hero status (or celebirty status as you mentioned in another thread) or a common snuff doesn't make the same difference to me as it seems to make for you. They're all green when the sh¡t flies.

What a stupid thing to say. Shame on you.
Now a question for you: Were you the kid in school that got wedgies even from the retarded kids?

La verdad es por impertinencia.

Aqui llamamos un tipo como skully "un pendejo con iniciativa", el pendejo mas peligroso de todo los pendejos.

No me recuerdo, espero que no fue importante.

If Obama is the worst president for having 4 americans killed at an embassy in Libya how do you feel about Reagan who lost 241 American Servicemen on his watch in the bombing of their barracks in Beirut?

A former defense secretary for Ronald Reagan says he implored the president to put Marines serving in Beirut in a safer position before terrorists attacked them in 1983, killing 241 servicemen.
"I was not persuasive enough to persuade the president that the Marines were there on an impossible mission," Caspar Weinberger says in an oral history project capturing the views of former Reagan administration officials.

* * *
[H]e said one of his greatest regrets was in failing to overcome the arguments that '"Marines don't cut and run,' and 'We can't leave because we're there'" before the devastating suicide attack on the lightly armed force.

"They had no mission but to sit at the airport, which is just like sitting in a bull's-eye," Weinberger said. "I begged the president at least to pull them back and put them back on their transports as a more defensible position."

The timeline of the events is very well documented now. I can understand the confusion surrounding them. One email saying they are under attack while another a bit later stating that the assault had stopped, then another saying they were under attack again. Bottom line though and this is supported by multiple sources was that they were under attack by an organized, well armed militia. Shooting high calibre machine guns and heavy mortars - with great effect. There were other CIA operatives on site who observed the attacks that were ordered to "stand down" and not come to the aid of their fellow Americans. We need to get to the bottom of who gave that order, and why (they ignored it by the way and bought Stevens even more time than he would have had). We had time to get drones in the sky to observe in real time what was happening so we damn well had time to bring some rain down on these assholes... That order was not given and investigations need to be done to find out why.

It is important to back away from the kneejerk political rhetoric but its imperative that we get to the bottom of this- NOW. Why was Stevens there that night, what was he discussing with the Turkish envoy beforehand, why were calls for more security on the ground leading up to this attack denied, why in the face of overwhelming evidence did the administration and surrogates say that it was a spontaneous protest about a video?... so many questions. This president owns this though- that cannot be denied.

Is it worth risking hundreds of lives and millions of dollars for the lives of two men who VOLUNTEERED to do a job?

No
Not at all. We need to get the F out of the Middle East and let them blow themselves up all they want. Israel are " God's Chosen People " so they have nothing to Fear. If Christian's believed their own prophecy supporting them wouldn't even be an issue. If God is For Israel then who could be against them?

I support Obama but I'm afraid this will be the final nail in his coffin. I would like some answers as well...
