This winter seems colder than last. Not turning back from that Hyperfreak again for a while.

Last winter went off as far as surf goes. This one is even better.

And it's been a lot of goddamn exercise. Some brutal paddle outs. That last cutback is almost never worth it. :roflmao:

Coldest I ever was was somewhere between Santa Cruz and San Francisco for an evening surf in April

Spring will be even colder

Coldest I ever was was somewhere between Santa Cruz and San Francisco for an evening surf in April
Somehow I muscled through last spring with that 4/3. Got chilly sometimes.

That swell before Christmas was cold. Howling offshores, windshield iced over in the morning, and 52 degree water. Hollow and damn fun though.

What kind of temp you get, sub 50? Gloves?
Gets about 48 in spring. 5/4 hood, booties.
