Haha yep, shorts can't cover. Ouch. Option volume is also extreme, so looking like a gamma squeeze is in the works for next expiration, November 19, to cover those. I don't think they will be having a good weekend.

Warrants are up 110% on the day. Good stuff.
PIPE share unlock should be around 30 days or so once they file. I beleive around 32,500,000 shares. Watch for the rug pull. I think it gaps up big next week but I'm sure there will be serious war room discussions this weekend, lots of shorts and option market makers underwater. Good luck!

to be clear, you think it still has lots of room to run after today's 66% gap up?

I really don't want to give any advice. I beleive it is well beyond any fundamental value, this is a momentum trade at this point with shorts trapped, and option gamma. I think next week will be extremely volatile. It could have a big gap up while they scramble to find shares, and it also could have a violent rug pull. How it closes in extended hours this evening and how it trades pre-market monday will be telling. Also short interest data is probably wacky. Were me I'd have a tight rope and watch volume. Be careful not to get trapped in a halt down.

Good luck!

no, understand completely. i'm just trying to gauge it's fundamental value vis a vis the Mastercard deal. bringing crypto to the masses via plastic is uncharted territory...i really don't know how to read it, tbh. i'm sure i'll buy a bunch more if it goes back into the 20's but in the 30's? not sure. and so forth. thanks again:waving:

Trading at a very high multiple as of now with the massive squeeze. I took profits on the warrants already, may trade it again if the set up is right. If I were planning on going long, I'd probably wait until the first earnings report to get a better idea of valuation and whether they met thier projection or missed it. Also forward looking guidance, including the mastercard deal. Either way, I think it is a long term safe bet, but I prefer to get the best entry I can (could always sell covered OTM calls and collect premiums, sell puts to get better entry/collect premiums). I am fairly sure it will see some sort of dip, could be massive, may not be. Hard to tell. Volume will say a lot. It isn't trading on fundamentals right now, so really hard to gauge. Good Luck!

edit: Once PIPE shares unlock will add 32.5m shares to the float, this usually provides a very good entry so watch for the filings.

great day on the market, hope all did well.

on a related note, US saving bonds are almost at an all time high - will be paying 7.12% annual interest for the next 6 months. good place to park some extra cash that's not making sh!t in the bank. edit: if you cash it within 5 years, you will lose three months interest....it's actually a 30 year bond, so it will continue to earn interest BUT it's a compounded variable rate bond so the rate obviously may vary. adjusted for inflation.

NEWS: The initial interest rate on new Series I savings bonds is the second-highest ever: 7.12 percent. You can buy I bonds at that rate through April 2022.

For the first six months you own it, the Series I bond we sell from November 2021 through April 2022 earns interest at an annual rate of 7.12 percent. A new rate will be set every six months based on this bond's fixed rate (0.00 percent) and on inflation.

did anyone take my advice on Yellow a few months ago? all I remember is being mocked by @Northern_Shores for my random stock tip

it's doubled since i bought it at $5.50. I'm still going to HODL for the target price of 20, maybe even $25, that I got from the very well informed non-insider who first made the recco a couple of months ago

Yeah i hadn’t logged into vanguard in a while, too caught up in playing for pennies on coin base I guess. I obviously knew what the S+P was doing, so I was content knowing that’s like 90% of my asset allocation, but then I said “well, let’s have a look and see” and wow, I’m 5% closer to the mythical “Number” than I was even just a few months ago

Yeah I took my first yellow profits just to cover my initial investment and pay for the more casino like crypto, but kept plenty for the off chance it really does make it to 25$ a share. What are we seeing right now? Supply chain issues. What does yellow do? trucks

Anybody gonna buy PENN on a discount? While Portnoy is a dork (and maybe sex predator), I do think Barstool is genius.
Originally got into PENN around $50 then sold over $100, bought back in around $80 so not too happy about yesterday. Not a big fan of him or Barstool but they are everywhere and seem to be killing it with a huge following. Might add some more now and sit on what i got for a bit. As long he doesnt turn out to be another Harvey Weinstein I think it should be good.
