Kauai is fortunate enough to NOT, have enough rental cars to supply, hence making roads not as constrictive but yet, with the road INTO and OUT OF Hanalei the delays and wait times, it's crazy and yet, Kauai's north shore community has always tried to accommodate of all concerned, the road delays, the frustration for the visitor (whom, btw never bothered to do just a wee bit of research to where they're traveling to) also all plays into the daily lives of singles, young boys & girls, teens, Mom's n' Dad's and Grandparents, all living on the Garden Island of Kauai.
Overwhelmed, might be the correct term for all such parties mentioned, above.
