I hadn't seen the video before. In general I think if you decide to step into the road, for whatever reason, you're taking some risks and you bear the responsibility for that choice. That said, I'm confused by a couple of things:

A. Might just be the elevated perspective of the video, but weird that the guy chose to pass the car in front of him on the right and move towards the crowd, when other cars were moving through on the left. Wonder if the guy got tunnel vision?

B. Wonder where the parents of the 16 year old were during this protest?
