I don't think that's a Russian vehicle getting ambushed. There's Russian tanks and vehicles driving down the street, including the one that ran over the car. They wouldn't sit idly by why other Russian soldiers were being executed not would the Ukrainian soldiers be just standing about showing guns while Russian military vehicles were 50 yards away.
Peripheral vision sucks in those tank things rolling by. And the vehicle being fired upon is kind of way off the road and behind a white van.

It seems that the Biden strategy of making us dependent on Russian oil (about 20 million barrels of oil per month) has some unintended consequences. Maybe if he liked a smart guy image instead of a tough guy image he would have seen the consequences of his actions coming. Now that the sanctions exclusions list is public it's even more embarrassing for him. Tough time to be a democrat.
