It's a video, so you don't see the concaves that Cole always does with his trunk boards. But you get the idea. Check out the two first comments... both of which I very much liked.
WHy does noone call out Matt Parker for copying the Trunk, which predates the Plasmic by many years? Not just the channels, but the outline is pretty spot on too.

The Cole Trunk Board has full length channel, 5 fin setup vs twin, different tail template, thinner foil and no beak nose.

So, has @MrSteve (or anyone) had both a Trunk and a Plasmic and could compare? Were they typically ridden as thruster or quad?
Mark Thomson would never make a board like the Plasmic!
I will admit that the Firefly and Grasshopper look very similar to the original Sci-fi design (minus the QISC) hull.
I had a grasshopper before getting onto the Tomo craze and really enjoyed that board a lot! Long ago, one of the harbor guys (Steve) said it looked like a good board for me.
