Nothing near that big, but caught a couple of 25-30" stripers and a bunch of catfish. Grilled some tasty striper filets.
The orcas were doing some fishing out front this morning. I grabbed this while watching with my kiddo.

Saw three Orcas heading south past my place earlier this morning when I was out walking.
Been a really good year for seeing Orcas plus Humpbacks passing by.
Never gets old.

Got our asses kicked fighting what could have been a 100"+ bluefin today. 4.5 hours later and getting very dark we locked down the drag on an 18k Certate and it finally broke the 120lbs leader.
We were fighting a large Blue Marlin in Costa Rica that we hooked late in the day on a flyrod.
After about an hour and a half and still an hour run for the barn the captain yells down from the tower... ok boys, when the sun goes down the drag goes up. LOL. I'll never forget that. We broke it off.
Pretty fun getting into yellowtail with light tackle from the beach. This one almost spooled me.
