Sounds like, they'll ticket parking, not beachgoing.

Ventura just got in on the game.

I'll be looking for surf. Alone.

Trying to decide S or N. Pretty sure I can find waves to myself either way, but wind will be the deciding factor.
Park and hike in. Willing to pay the parking ticket if need be.

Staying out of the tourist zones and laying low, bbq with the fam, maybe have a couple of friends over and sit apart in the back yard for some socially distant beers.

Anyone in Oxtura heard anything about what enforcement is going to look like? I've got an idea for parking and hiking in, but don't want to come back to a towed car.

Please PM me.

They just (mostly) closed the beaches in SB county for the weekend. Open for watersports or jogging only. Thank God, since it was lining up to be a shitshow with Vta and LA beaches closed.

Santa Barbara announced all county beaches will be closed this weekend. Jalama is within the county so I assume it will be closed.
