My buddy has had his 4.7 2UZ-FE 04 Runner since new. It's another bulletproof legendary motor that will last forever. I guess we all check in at 1/2 million milesthat 4 liter 1GRFE might actually be as rock solid dependable as my 3.4 liter 5VZFE

I had a brand new one this summer in Playa Grande for a few weeks and almost drove it home!Best trip to costa rica I ever had, they gave me a Land Cruiser prado diesel at the rental shop. That thing fvcked hard. So fun driving through the jungle to find waves with. Wish we could get them here.
