that's the Sympl fish pad, it is made that way
Has anybody seen one of these Sympl Fish Pads in person? I'm curious as to how hight the kicker is.

Every online description says it's "low," but in that photo above it looks like it's a decent height.

It’s very low, more like a hump instead of a kick. Definitely no vert to it. I’m a fan of Sympl pads as they’re all very consistent. Lots of other brands you can see inconsistencies in arch, kick, where the sections are cut, even the thickness within the same pad, etc…
I took out both cutouts in the twin fin on the far right

sympl are ok but dont grip as good as astrodeck and dakine. soft pads tho. bettef if they made more standard grip patterns.
That’s another reason I like them. Softer and I use the ones with no nobby bumps preventing me from moving feet around and readjusting my stance. But it’s all personal preference
