This list isn’t gun murder rates. It’s murder rates no matter the tool used. Asshole.

You are equating murder rates by country with rates of gun possession. There is no real correlation between the two.

Just about every household in Switzerland has a gun in it. Very low murder rate.

If you eliminate 6-8 very isolated (geographically) areas of the US we would have one of the worlds lowest murder rates.

The state of Vermont has a very high rate of gun possession yet a very low rate of murders.

It’s cultural. The tools used are just that. Tools.
What drugs are you smoking.

Guns have everything to do with murders.
Do you think they're killing each other with hammers in El Salvador?

BTW, you murder rate list places the US at #1, way ahead of every developed western democracy.

Are you being proud that the US has more murders than Zambia, Pakistan and Lebanon? Or are we supposed to be proud that we're better than Burundi and Haiti?

And yes it's the culture that's different - the gun culture. That's precisely why we need gun control, which by the way Swirzerland has. You need permits for semi-autos and background checks are mandatory for all weapons. Virtually no conceal carry is permitted.

How much dumb can you put in one post. Sheesh.

Needed?

Depends.

Also, we don’t have to demonstrate a need.

Have you been sleeping?…
It doesn't depend, nobody needs guns.
Unless you're affraid of other good guys with guns and think that more guns is the solution.

I keep asking gun turds how they imagine these fantasy scenarios where they use guns for self defense. Like, somebody points the gun at you and asks you to give them your shitty wallet with $40 in it and you pull your gun out and pew pew pew shoot them dead?
Is that how it's supposed to work?

And no I haven't been sleeping, striking the NYC gun law is the dumbest thing that could possibly happen. I mean, what could possibly go wrong when people start carrying guns in courtrooms, schools, baseball games and bars?

why would guns not be allowed in courtrooms? Disallowing them would be unconstitutional

HERES YOUR GOOD GUY WITH A GUN

French and his parents, Russell and Paola French, were shopping at the Costco store when the 32-year-old struck or shoved Sanchez from behind without warning while they were waiting at a sausage sample table, authorities said.

Sanchez, who was holding his toddler son in his arms, was knocked to the ground. He took out his gun and fired several times, killing French and injuring his parents.

French's parents said their son had been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Sanchez was fired from the LAPD last year after the city's civilian Board of Police Commissioners determined that French's conduct did not present an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury - meaning that the use of lethal force was not "objectively reasonable."

The Riverside County district attorney declined to charge Sanchez criminally when a grand jury didn't indict him. However, the state attorney general charged him with voluntary manslaughter and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

He is awaiting trial.
