The Constitution reserves authority over criminal (abortion) law "to the states respectively". The Constitution correctly assumes that the right of self defense is a natural human right, and specifically outlaws all laws against it from all government entities.
The way laws are structured,. it doersn't matter if states repeal their laws requiring special reasons for using the right to carry a firearm. As of the time the ruling was released those laws are all null and void.

Concealed carry laws make sure people who would do bad stuff for the guns don’t do it because they don’t have a concealed carry permit.

All have fairly lax guns laws.
Concealed carry permits deter gun crime by making sure people who want to do bad stuff with guns don't do it.
They ensure only law abiding citizens can hide a gun on their person.
