Exactly, KR was there to antagonize and stir sh!t. End of story.
Even if that was the case - for which you have zero evidence - it would be no different than what every loudmouth in the vicinity was there for. Especially and including assailant #1.

Even if KR got directly in the Leprechaun's face and screamed at him that doesn't amount to a provocation which is in any way different than what half that crowd was doing. The dwarf was still REQUIRED to keep his hands to himself in that event. "I was triggered is not a defense" for his assault.

You're just mad because you think the rioters had the right to run wyld without anyone telling them "no" or even giving them stinkeye.

The next step is that more protesters will come strapped. Like I said years ago, it's just a matter of time until the escalation gets to IEDs and car bombs. That's what makes it so intolerable to allow street protests to transition into street violence. Inclusive of threats of violence.
The transition to the strategic...

It really comes down to one side being there to destroy property via rioting and looting and the other side being there to protect property. When rioting and looting starts it is no longer a "protest". At that stage all bets are off and great latitude needs to be given to those doing what is necessary to protect a town.

The struggle doesn't have to be limited to the two sides facing off on the field of honor, right?

Assuming Kyle always follows the law, what kind of law would have prevented these killings?
No law is going to prevent criminals and vigilantes from doing what they do, but you probably already knew that.

A more carefully drafted law without all the loopholes would be a start though, one in which a minor isn't allowed to acquire and openly carry firearms in the streets.
