We should create a erBB surf brand,
Made a list in 2016 of words/phrases that could be on erBB t-shirts. I'm sure there are tons of custom t-shirt manufacturers online:

The impact of VF Corp.’s turnaround plan on Vans’ local office is now known.
A filing received by the state this month indicated a total of 42 positions eliminated in the Costa Mesa office. The last of the layoffs are expected to be completed by the end of this month.
A spokesperson for Vans, reached Tuesday, declined to comment on the filing.
VF Corp. had confirmed to SES in November about 500 layoffs across its global offices and brands as part of the company’s Reinvent turnaround plan. However, it was not known at the time the specific impact to each brand.
“While these decisions are never easy, they will give us the financial flexibility to invest behind our brands and better position us for long-term growth,” the company said in November in confirming the 500 layoffs.

Not sure- Ozzie Wright, Dion Agius, Asher Pacy- all on the wrong side of 40 and all still seem able to surf for a living.

Brendan Margieson, over 50, just signed with Florence Marine x.
i think Margo represents what older guys see as "real surfing", i definitely can relate to his style more than any type of Brazzo/San Clemente male figure skating + we're just way cooler. Btw, Margs worked as an airport baggage handler for years before his resurgance. Surfing is still cool, its just the wrong people are in charge....miss the days when the surf industry was just about petty squabbles like who was the "real" distributor for a major blank manufacturer or who really started making fish designs in North County. We're all a bunch of dumbasses, we're just now realizing that the half-life of the money we poured into our kids for them to be surf stars was just a facade. Surfing is dead and i'm ok with it..

100%- basically anyone who has worked a real job is a better person than someone who has done nothing but surf on the industry teat.

Surfed with Jackson Baker the other day who worked as a delivery driver to finance himself into the pro surfing dream.

Cool, normal bloke.

At this point I wonder if Steph is going to stay at Roxy.
Dunno, but one thing is sure - this is all looking like the final nail in the coffin for pro surfing.

Trouble at Vans too it seems.

Can only hope with the destruction it makes surfing less popular.

Anyone heard about this hyped new brand Tenore thats supposedly signing new riders as the next big thing?:roflmao:Can we place bets on how fast that flops? Is it Ten-or? Teno-rAy? Tenor-ee?:roflmao:

Remember when Luke E's brand "Depactus" was the future of the surf industry?

Die surfing, die! :applause2: although now we'll probably have to deal with a bunch of foil contraptions in the lineup. That seems to be gaining a lot of popularity around here :(
