--Interesting how mental health and clothing rules are major issues.
--Amusing that they are finally acknowledging the extracurricular activities that typically occur in Olympic Village.
--Women street skateboarders were impressive.
--I quite enjoyed the surfing coverage.

i was surprised Simon Biles publicist was able to tweak all of western society.

Conspiracy theory: She's pregnant.

I can't think of any major surprises. Maybe the whitewashing of a bunch of dirty Russians competing even though the country should have blacklisted for a double digit number of games, both summer and winter. Who am I kidding? That's not a surprise.

Whole event seems flat without an audience. That's kind of a letdown.
After early rounds in tiny surf, stocked that actual swell came in. Fun to watch.

Yeah the incomprehensible coverage and scheduling and the “only on peacock pay to play” Schlick make it really annoying to get into. We’ve started dvr-ing large swaths of coverage on the main 3 channels and then skipping around watching little bits of anything, skipping ads etc. that makes it a little more fun. Like, I can watch a few minutes of swimming or fencing Or whatever, get bored, then quickly find some other event that’s entertaining in small doses

I think we are taping Live BMX overnight (among who knows how many other things). That could be fun to watch for 20 minutes on a flat rainy Sunday afternoon
