Agreed. Boxes for me and the man is dreaming up some crazy keels and flex fins and all sorts to try out.Just say no to overlap!
I introduced him to your insta feed and twin fins today Greg. We had a chat about placements etc.
Why would placement make it slide on the backside but not on the frontside (his frontside cuties looked really good to me)?looks a little slidey on the roundhouses, especially backside. Probably too much overlap in the fin cluster. Interesting how much he likes it, though. Kid can surf. Has a good fs bottom turn.
I remember seeing a few Lance Collins Wave Tools with sliced twins in the 80s.
Don't know. I'm the opposite: slide out more off heel side turns. My knees don't bend that direction so more of my upper body weight is leaning over. Why would placement make it slide on the backside but not on the frontside (his frontside cuties looked really good to me)?
I think the board is just a bit big and wide for him to hold down. He’s built like a hobbit.Don't know. I'm the opposite: slide out more off heel side turns. My knees don't bend that direction so more of my upper body weight is leaning over.
Delete this post ASAP!!!I looks a bit like it. I’m going to maybe steer towards something like this, twinzere.

Does that count as a banana board yet? That's more rocker than I'd put on a 6'4" thruster. Is that normal for an east coast Aussie board?
I have 3 sets of those fins. Two in Futures and one in fcs. I like em in the right board.Delete this post ASAP!!!
Twin Fins placed at 11"...
GG will shed his pants!
I’ve got the smaller ones and the huuuge 3 tabbers. The big one are some of the best fins I’ve ever ridden. They just don’t feel like the look.I have 3 sets of those fins. Two in Futures and one in fcs. I like em in the right board.
That might be a typo, he told me 10” down to 9.5”.Delete this post ASAP!!!
