Ubehebe crater is a neat place, almost illusional if you look at it, and then hike it and realize how big/deep/wide it is.

I gave up on Aloha shirts ling ago. When you are this haole, it looks like you are trying too hard.

I have found that hiking in Death Valley is best with an Aloha shirt soaked in water and few liters of water.

When the shirt drys out, slowly pour some water on your head, then on your shoulders, have a few sips, repeat as needed until half the water is gone, then turn around and carry on.

Later, take a glamour shot by the campsite at nightfall.

You must be a masochist Mr. Doof.

Otherwise, why would anyone go hiking in Death Valley :confused2:

1 For the stars at night
2 It gets awfully foggy/grey during summer in San Francisco
3 For the chance to wear an Aloha shirt
4 For the views
5 Snakes and scorpions and foxes and deadly mines and death by dehydration and gorgeous emptiness
