I haven't given them the side by side but I can confidently say the Hab has more rocker. I think shadow is also more staged whereas Hab feels pretty continuous. It's also more slimmed and tucked in width and foil. Shadow is much better in mush, Hab wants a pocket or some push.that thing looks good. How's it compare with the Shadow? They're both based off the GX rocker right?
I just ordered those for my Banjo Fish, got them the next day through Amazon. Can't wait to try them. Fins I was using were a bit too schizophrenic to say the least.Surf squared keels. Pretty different from other keels I've tried, trailing edge is more incut like a raked thruster fin. Tried many sets but these are easily my favorite. I'll try to get nose n tail widths soon.View attachment 84408
Nice one Aruka!6-1 Habenero in some fun wavesView attachment 84397
I'm not positive. Tim asked me if I wanted any special tweaks to my Hab and I just told him to make me whatever he'd make Brett but in my dims. My last GX was the Dane file and it definitely has more of a low, staged rocker through the midsection.Nice shreddage, Aruka.
Is the Habanero the same as the Brett Simpson Grinder X file? I thought Tim has two Gx files, one for joes and one for pros. Not sure where the Habanero fits.
Haha. I've been away from this mess since they changed the whole layout and I don't really know how to post photos anymore.anyone on the instagram catch fresno's and tim's story showing the gutter bottom widows maker? Why no share fresno?
