When I was living in Cap. Fed. Arg. I had a friend who was a gambling addict.
I would go with him to the casino many nights a week.
I played Blackjack.
I made a lot of $$$ simply by playing 2 rounds, and if I lost both, I'd quit playing for the night. Then I would just people watch, which is great at the casino.
If I was on a streak I'd keep playing of course but never allow more than a 2 round loss, unless I was way way up I'd allow a 3 round loss.
You have to be willing to stop playing very early. You have to play the winning streaks and never play the losing streak. To play profitably this is really the only way to play, otherwise you're pretty much always going to be at a net loss.
As the old saying goes "Las Vegas wasn't built by winners...it was built by losers."
