Akila's are notoriously thinly foiled FWIW. I have an old one that's 2 3/8" and it's crazy how low volume the rails are. Maybe his foils have changed but I've read some comments on here somewhat recently that make me think they are still pretty....svelte.
Fo sho. I think you can go overvolume and not notice. Not sure it would work for me the other way.
I'm still actually tempted to grab it... but should really hold out for a bit bigger
