Any more ride reports on these? Really wanna order one of these but I've heard mixed reports about it working as a groveller

I hope this helps, I've only ridden this board twice. It's a 5'8 22.25 2.75 super buzz with a volume of 36 L. Rode it from waist to shoulder mushy at times but overall and weak. So far I love it, it paddles really well but turns so good. It went pretty well with controller fins but switched them today with Roberts front and stretch new template rears and I think it's money. The smallestnive had it in so far is weak waist high high tide and it went pretty good. As long as there some kind of push it should be ok. Be careful to take in consideration where your surfing when ordering this board. Stretch recommends it real small but if your on the east coast go bigger. So far so good just need some more sessions, which isn't to easy in jersey in the summer.

Sweet thanks nj. That's similar dims to what I'm thinking of ordering, for mushy beach break. What's your height/weight? I'm 6'2 190 and I was thinking 5'8 21.75 2.6.

I have one, quad bat-tail. Dig it.
Works amazing in good waves.
Not the new model though.

Back to the subject I am thinking about placing a order soon and was thinking about going 5'2" ( I am 5'8" 165#) and let stretch take care of the rest of the dims. I want my SB to be a groveler and a good small wave board so is on the small size best for the sb? Also I was wondering about fins and what you running. I am thinking about getting the fu stretch controller set w/ my order.

Quick n dirty formula for what size Buzz
will work for you.
Subtract 15% of the length from your HPSB
that you're currently riding, and there ya go.
Riding a 6' HPSB?
A 5'2"+/- Buzz is your ride.

for this type of boards, it seems it IS important to shorten the lenght, and then adjust widht/thicknes to whatever volume you want; is that how it is? for example they adviced me, and I am considering a 5'8x19x2.32, or a 5'6x20x2.4. Me being 5'9, 165 pounds. And i guess i'd like around 30 lts of volume maybe?

I am a inch shorter same weight and only contacted strech for a quote but I was thinking 5'2" for my sb and let stretch come up w/ other dims. What size do you ride for hpsb or dd? My hpsb is 5'11" 18-3/4" 2-3/8" and dd's 5'9" 19" 2-1/4" and 5'6" 20"2-3/4". I am looking for my sb to be a good small wave board knee high to hh beach break.

Well i also have a 511x 18 3/4x2 3/8s but is a subdriver so it has like a fuller outline i guess. My board for bogger waves is 61x18 5/8x2 3/8s. So i guess yOu use smaller boards than me.

Not really because 5'6" still trips me out how small it is since I learned how to surf in the 80's Just trying to get a feel for how small to go and feel 5"2" is my limit and don't want to end up w/ some thing I don't like or can't use Please add feedback/input to those who ride superbuzz
