Picked this one up second hand but only ridden one time by OG owner

Dims : 5'6 x 20.75 x 2.6 32.3 L futures quads controllers
My dims 5'11.5 x around 177-180 generally
If I rode a regular non stub shortboard in good waves with some push it would be 6'3 x 19.5 x 2 5/8
Overall when up and riding the board performs as expected of this platform of boards fast on the flats and loose off the top and bottom .hqve only ride it 3 x this far and it's been in waist to chest shortish period windswell with clean conditions .
Personally even though 32.3 l floats me it is a little on the low end .
I think this board is def rhe most high performance version of the wide tailed flat rockered hybrid boards . I think It will excel in waves with some push and a real good defined peak at the lower end volume . If you looking for this to be a real groveller in waves that are slopey or come in flat I'd recommend erring on the higher end of the volume scale for the average Joe competent surfer .
Overall I look forward to riding it in some small waves with some good shape and power and modest period to really see how she goes .
Look forward to hearing some other reviews as I'm still scratching the surface on this one and hav yet to get her in th kind o surf I want ( waist to head high medium to long period and clean )
I am on the fence on the volume as i would like this one 2"'longer and .25-.50 wider to work better on the East coast and waves that come in flatter and softer .

Yes flatter rocker .I'm puzzled as my reg shortboard is in the 28-29 l range and this is 32 . I was just sick for two weeks so maybe it's paddling is due to a slight loss of fitness but in this type of small shaker wide board I think I'm used to around 36l volume whij really rolls in but doesn't go on rail as well . It's a def trade off.

mmm
ive noticed when i go on such shorter boards, even though they might be more buoyant, they take a lil longer to get going on a wave
Planing area. One thing I've found on slopey, small, slow stuff, is if you take off at an angle, there's more planing with less water pushing -- you get an effectively reduced rocker due to the diagonal waterline, and it seems like you get the rocker in front of you out of the water. I dunno - maybe someone else will chime in similarly. It works for me.

EDIT: Sorry - not that the waterline itself is the thing - the waterflow under it is the thing, but it's similarly diagonal. That is all.

Postscript: Also, youre getting lift ("drive") from the wings, er, fins, especially teh wave side rail fin(s) so you're going to get some acceleration off them, too. If you have toed in rail fins, and youre taking off straight, theyre both (all) at a negative angle for lift, just dragging.

Anybody seen this vid yet? Really curious to hear some ride reports on this...especially since Stretch says that 8'0 of Nathan's lasted all winter at Pipe, heavy. The tech looks sick.

Got to see those (cork top/bamboo bottom) in person over at Stretch and they look beautiful. Haven't rode one but feels super high quality and SOLID construction!

I haven't ridden a Super Buzz yet.
But I've been fully stoked on my Mr.Buzz!
Just waiting for my broken foot to heal up, and
for some decent waves. This summer has been
sorta craptacular.

Is this tech going to be available for anyone (like Hydroflex) or just Stretch boards?

Looks amazing.

I have one and I have just been able to get my feet on it coming off a back issue.

Mine is on the bigger side due to my hips/back and it looks giant but it goes good. Actually had two of the best sessions on it yesterday at the Rock.

Was hoping to run it again today as its 2-3 foot bigger but the damn wind came with it

Does anyone have ballpark figures on this tech?? Can't image carbon / bamboo / cork is too cheap.

I find you really only need one board in slow-cal (unless you want to spend your time groveling). Could be worth the investment.

there will be 3 zeros after the 1

oh well thats not soooooo bad if there really are three zeros after a one.

If there was say a 2, 3, or 4 after the 1 and before the last two zeros, that would be more of a stretch (no pun intended) for the average surfer.

I mean a board like that would easily last you two - three season of heavy use before you got tired of it...

For a complete board, or just glassing?
