2x4 step up 6'3' 19" 2.5" CFT Heavy Duty 6/6 6...If you want EPS/Epoxy to feel like PU/PE weight go CFT Heavy. I am not sure how the flex is going to feel yet because I have not tried 2x4 yet but weight feels real good for step up.View attachment 85640View attachment 85641View attachment 85642View attachment 85643View attachment 85644
I am waiting for a quad set of FU#1 4.25"/4" to go with my step up. Anyone have input on smaller set for good waves? My other boards I ride as quad with FU#2 4.5"/4.17(?)"... Thanks in advance.

The k2.1 up front and some glass flex carver rears is what's would run if I was about 150ish

I liked my 2x4 best with the large Merrick thruster

Hey retodd like I mentioned I love the FU#2 quad set and even have 2 sets and future sf4 honeycomb and like the stretch templates. I was wondering more about less fin better or bigger wave theory and going to give it a try.

Is the CFT construction still available? The cork deck with bamboo bottom? Seems indestructible.

Wondering if you can still order boards with that. They look cool too.

No I realize that.

I was more or less asking. I don’t if stretch makes both or just EPS
Sorry did not mean to type like I was argueing:) Yes many prefer pu for step ups and semi guns on stretch team. I just got a 2x4 step up CFT heavy 6/6 6 and it feels perfect to me and easily could make its way down a face with 12+mph offshore but my reason was more for strength then weight. I find the CFT medium works great even on windy days and bullet proof. I do have 2 x pu with epoxy s glass boards made from other shaper seem super strong as well. Only time well tell and my oldest stretch f4 looks and surfs pretty good for almost 20 years old:)

Once I got my hands on a stretch board last fall I didn’t really want anything else.

They seem to last and their shapes are great.

Thanks for the info and I think I’m gonna order another next winter
