I am forever thankful I memorized common math answers for the simple, everyday math occurrences.

I'd like to thank the teachers who made me write out the times tables after school on the blackboard as punishment for excessive "not paying attention in class".

I treasure the memory of my high school algebra teacher, Ms. Kinney. So concise...no extra words and none left out...no chinks in her armor. She gave extra credit questions on test. Several of us had final class grades over 100%. Ask me about imaginary numbers...-1**(1/2). In her class after the bell, math was the only topic of conversation. There might have been a Latinx or two in the room. There weren't any black kids at all oooooooo in the whole school. <shrug>
