not all, some are actually pretty good to even exceptional. but there is a majority where there is significant reform needed but will never happen. it is what it is. i know ppl in higher ed who tried to help reform k-12 math and they just got pushback by the moron group, unions, etc. etc. i feel really bad for the ones who are actually educated in math and can teach it properly based on a sound background. they get my utmost respect and are fighting the good fight. on the other hand, too many classics majors who got a c- on calc 1 and now run entire k-12 math programs. no way to improve. literally idiocracy in real life
