Playa Grande Costa Rica in July - advice?

Glad to see you guys made it up there. Makes for a nice day trip and the drive itself is part of the adventure if you take the dirt road in from Potrero.
Really well run park and all the staff are great. I go for the Wild Animal Park and exhibits (I'm afraid of heights so no ziplines for me ).

Playa Grande does get pretty good from time to time. Just a really tide fickle place.

Cool meeting up with you amigo! my last 3 days were totally worth the 2 week trip. Surfed 150 meters away from the normal pack at the main peaks literally by myself. Lefts rolling thru set after set chest to head high and hollow on the incoming tide. At high tide it shut down so paddled towards the pack.....(about a dozen or so) and caught some more. Went back to Negra the last day and hung out with friends.
I'm going back 8-15 to My friends place in Negra for a week and surf with some friends from Indialantic, Florida.
