Fond memories (a great story, actually, but for some reason I don't feel like sharing it on the BB today), but I'm not using it lately, and it's taking up 9' of space in my garage.

I mean come on, if your a surfer, you know how to find boards... this is not the only place... there are plenty of avenues to find surfboards.<P>Like Stefan said go to ebay... go to a surf shop look around for a second hand board. and this avenue works too... <P>Just being the devil's advocate. Dang ! What a shame, a suppossed allie shows her true colors. Which by my estimation would be the color "green". That's cool sister. No love lost. I'm here to enjoy the funny, imformative and normally supportive threads posted by myself as well as others. I'm not here to win a popularity contest or true-blue friends. My lurking here for a used board seemed logical to me. I figured I'd help out someone here first with my $$$ before I went to the cold harsh surf shop, where my greenback's are just another sale. I figure if I get a good deal here, that person that sells to me will enjoy hearing my stoke from something that originated from them. I'd like that if it were me selling to someone. Anyway, beautiful sunny day, my boyfriend is head over heels for me, my sweet little boy aced his history exam and Xmas is right around the corner. Life is sweet.

I've taken breaks from surfing but it only fueled my stoke for when I got back into it. Your story of the drive up the coast was nice, done that drive many times without a board and I felt just as connected with the waves even if I'd been surfing them. good luck finding a board!
