Torpedo did the exact same thing i do when I've had a shocker on a big day. Didn't get a bomb, then settled for two fat ones, just to be able to lie to yourself that you woulda gone if you were in a better position / back wasn't sore / wasn't hungover / etc
I'm the first to bash Filipe for being a chicken sh!t, but the new format has nothing to do with it. He bombs at Pipe and Chopes and wins almost everything else. He would still win in the old format. We need more waves of consequence on tour (bring back Fiji! is Fiji back by any chance? not following).
