Are Fannings same template as Carvers? People seem to like those as a predictable fin. (too raked for my taste)
Found this:

I have a set of the AMs, maybe between the bit more raked center and the 50/50 foil it will feel better. would be kinda surprised if i can tell much difference.

today the conditions were a little smaller and weaker and i appreciated the feel. so maybe i was just using the board in conditions it wasn't really meant for. still gonna get the XL fins though.

The XL carvers are way bigger than the rest of the large fins. I had a similar experience and FCS's swept fins selection kind of blows. The JS are okay for me if it's real clean; similar on the Kolohe and they don't want it to be too racy or too gutless.

If I had too much speed I'd try the Pyzels or the DHD. For me, if it's going too fast in a straight line I'd want less rake, not more.

I went with True Ames large CI and some grub screws. YMMV

You are doing a Design Forum-tastic job of it swooping a new shape with FCS boxes!

Did you get it in that EPS construction or is it poly?

Edit: The place I sploojumed about in the Yuri thread isn't working the same in terms of tide based on yesterday's recon. Note that with Mickler's closed starting soon through high summer, ERRRRRRRfknbody is going to know about it.

St. John's County came up with a fresh Forty to dump some sand from the Duval/St. John's County line down to the last house before North Guana.

The normies are big mad triggered. They don't understand the people want it to have at least some time to try to sprout some vegetation during the smaller surf season.

There's also going to be another project down in St. Auggie, from Anastasia State Park to A street.

always funny when they do it in the late summer/fall when all the nor easters are about to hit. half the sand is gone before they finish the project. sucks all those surrounding beaches are going to get packed.... and there's really just guana publicly accessible nearby.

last time i was down to A street the cars weren't far from people sitting...so i guess they need it... how long does that beach have left as a drive-on i wonder.

board did what it was supposed to again today, so i guess my fins are fine as long as i don't push it on the size of surf.

Anybody tried these?

I just put some TA quads in my Ghost. Same template but a little smaller. Waiting for waves to try….

Grabbed some Futures ENs. First impression is very nice.

Was curious about using a larger upright twin compared with my beat up True Ames TAs.

ENs have a wider base but more rake and less depth than the TAs. The EN foil is much more refined and gives the narrow tip nice flex. Glass layup is premium compared to the thick, dense fiberglass of the TA.

Think these will rule in the Plasmic. Maybe smooth out the kinks and give some spring through turns.
I found the ENs to be too big and/or not enough cant for the Plasmic. Been running son of cobras in mine. I recently got a set of NVS Orcas that are roughly the same size as the ENs, different outline and more cant. Might toss ‘em in the Plasmic for a go but I’ve been happy with the SOCs so….
