i was thinking about you guys the other day.....
no surf!...
so i went over to the local wetlands to shoot some egrets and herons....
i see dozens hanging out there all the time....

but on this day....

NOBODY was home!!!

Not a bird but part of Nature, nice little Campbell River summer run Steelhead I caught mid-day a few years back.
Made one cast just on a whim and bingo......there she was.

Made it out to the wetlands this afternoon - haven't shot any nature stuff for a couple weeks - felt good!
