Medina had a total of 6 and Caio had 1. Medina would win the heat even with just 1 wave score. So he dropped in on Caio's wave on the last minute to keep him from surfing it. He got an interference but still won. and he knew it.
Sounds like Charlie calculated it and was screaming for Medina to burn Caio to keep him from getting the score. One more reason to root for Italo.
