my cousin works at a repair shop. he told me if a male under 60 comes in with a virus or malware issue 95% of the time their browser history shows they were checking porn sites when their computer got hit. otherwise for the older crowd they are mostly clicking on stupid sh!t.

Pirated software is another. Key generators were notoriously loaded with Trojans in the Napster/Limewire days.

if you bittorrent, and had to register an account, that could be it, too.

in the future use the iCloud “hidemyemail” for bogus registrations. That way they never know your real email and you can kill the spambot forwards in a couple taps.

This is where mac pays off most trojans " I never got mac virus" doing bt worse happens I get spammed with p@rn pop ups
