Did this part go over your head?

Authors' conclusions

The high risk of bias in the trials, variation in outcome measurement, and relatively low adherence with the interventions during the studies hampers drawing firm conclusions.
No - in fact it supports what we said all along

and in the case of mandated interventions one of the harms that must be considered is the long term consequences of abandoning the principle of informed consent
There’s really no way to have informed consent on medical interventions - you have to trust that the investigators and regulators did their jobs in the trials and evaluations. Now we know that they don’t - the CDC and FDA are compromised and captured by the pharmaceutical industry and will approve just about anything. Some of the regulators had some pangs of conscience about it like in that video I posted about Covid vax adverse events, but it’s not enough to fix the system.

bullshit

a patient can be provided with relevant information and a patient can make a choice based on that information

can and should!

abandoning the principle of informed consent has all sorts of awful long-term side effects

Yeah, but you’re relying on regulators and mfrs for the quality and reliability of that information. The quality appears to be low and possibly fraudulent.

right. so the "informed" part of informed consent is difficult right now. and the "consent" part of informed consent is being ignored completely by the mandates.

but neither of these points change the fact that abandoning the principle of informed consent has serious long-term consequences that decision makers are ignoring when they choose to mandate COVID 19 shots.

True statement.

Gotta love living in the United States of Idiocracy where they MANDATE things with uncertain effectiveness.

Team America, fook YEAH!

:roflmao:
mischaracterization

because this one meta-analysis was inconclusive does not negate the extensive body of scientific knowledge that has repeatedly demonstrated masks are effective at limiting the spread of airborne viruses

No - in fact it supports what we said all along
when faced with facts that don't conform to your bias, the only solution is to...double down on your incorrect assertions and continue to ignore the facts.

holy fk, schex....new day, same idiot

Don't compare an EdD with a PhD and don't compare a MEd and a MS/MA. Ed degrees are a fraction of the work and difficulty, usually only obtained so somebody can jump through an administrative hoop to become an administrator.
My sisters got them to get the pay raise.

But they are both expert educators.

So just because you have an Ed degree doesn't mean you are an idiot.

Though in Shxes case . . .

all types of masks assist with particle and droplet protection which was the relevant metric for Covid.... and n95 protect against viruses...it says so right on the package, as DUFFMAN would say

It was NOT the relevant metric for COVID. COVID is airborne vapors. The virus passes right through surgical and cloth masks (which we knew all along and was pointed out here 3 years ago) and as the study above show they found no evidence that N95s were any better in real life applications.

N95s work when fitted and worn properly which almost nobody does.

"airborne vapors"

lol....what's a vapor, DUFFMAN?

holy fk....

and why do you continue to make false claims? the author of the study says in the study itself that it's inconclusive

why mischaracterize, DUFFMAN?

there is plenty of research that shows from cloth, to surgical, to n95 users enjoy progressively more benefit in reduction of transmission by limiting the...vapors

goddamn, is it going to be another one of those days for you, DUFFMAN?

“Spread of COVID-19 occurs via airborne particles and droplets. People who are infected with COVID can release particles and droplets of respiratory fluids that contain the SARS CoV-2 virus into the air when they exhale (e.g., quiet breathing, speaking, singing, exercise, coughing, sneezing). The droplets or aerosol particles vary across a wide range of sizes – from visible to microscopic.”

You have no defense
From the META study (sounds conclusive to me)

"Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of influenza‐like illness (ILI)/COVID‐19 like illness compared to not wearing masks (risk ratio (RR) 0.95, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.84 to 1.09; 9 trials, 276,917 participants; moderate‐certainty evidence. Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of laboratory‐confirmed influenza/SARS‐CoV‐2 compared to not wearing masks (RR 1.01, 95% CI 0.72 to 1.42; 6 trials, 13,919 participants; moderate‐certainty evidence)."

Yet washing hands did show to be effective
Weird how all the mainstream media just ignores the biggest study to date
