BTW, anyone who throws a milkshake at someone deserves the assault charges and susbsequent record coming to them. Just for limp-wristed dumbfuckery.

I dunno - if the plan is to milkshake people who make political commentary when they're out in public then there are lots of entertainment and sports figures and politicians on the left who are just as vulnerable to those kinds of assaults as anyone on the right.
The people who think it's funny now won't be laughing so much when it's Nancy Pelosi or Robert DeNiro getting slimed. We're currently just a couple steps away from enjoying the cultural enrichment of seeing our politics being expressed Beirut-style.
Taken to its logical conclusion, the "by any means necessary" perspective poses a severe threat to civil discourse.
