What's so annoying is that the race hustlers are criticizing whitey for preferring or at least aspiring not to think of themselves in racialized terms (like when someone says "I don't see color"). Then they get outraged with what happens when they succeed in compelling whitey to actively think in racialized terms and to explicitly self-identify as white and distinctly separate and apart from non-white.

We know from the entire history of mankind that people will always tend to behave like...people. With that in mind, how can anyone honestly believe that advocating whitey to actively think and interact with others primarily in terms of racial identity will lead to less racial conflict? That whitey will somehow act differently under those circumstances than every other such group identity?

There is no indication that any segment of any population has ever been either willing or capable of rising above it all and to actually be "better than that". What we're left with is how we think people actually will tend to act and react WRT those expectations.

I didn't post it with that intention. I like the crafting of the scene. Childish's character already had his ideas about white chicks. Lena's was probing to see what was behind the buzz. In an earlier scene he asks her out. She told him no real dates, just bootie.

...but none of that seems to apply to cops. Many have behaved like the worst of people over and over and not lost standing. Aside from their front page misadventures, their misconduct can often be hidden in internal records and yet they are allowed to represent themselves to juries as paragons of virtue when they shouldn't be allowed to testify at all.
